issue – 13

Feb 2016: issue: 13
A Word from Goldie.

Dear Friends, with this issue we are starting a new series on “Family” where we will be talking about different areas of family relationships. The first article is on “Fight a good Fight”.  After 51 years of marriage we still argue almost every day. But our relationship remains strong because we do all the things we advocated in this article.  Want to make your marriage last?  Fight the right way!

Valentine’s Day is 14 Feb. so we include Sim Ai Hiong, an appreciative wife’s praise of her husband.

When blind Indonesian Australian Ritchell was a teenager we wrote her story in Asian Beacon. Now a young lady we provide an update of what she is doing, using her music gifting to inspire and excite.

Another gifted man KB Chan, living without kidneys shares how he received instructions from God to spread good news in worship and word.

In Youth Forum we have two regular contributors expressing their viewpoints: Veronica Wee writes “What! No Harry Potter” and Ryan Lian on his thoughts after reading the classic “Confessions by St. Augustine”.

If you would like to receive our Newsletter regularly please subscribe on the Homepage. Thank you.

God bless, Tek & Goldie

2016 STRAINING TOWARD THE GOAL.

v.11 Straining Toward the Goal v.12 Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. v.13 Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, v.14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
